Description: Gentleman's highly impressive 10ct rose rolled gold (professionally tested and known in the USA as gold filled) traditional curb link Antique (Thomas Hopwood) pocket watch chain / Albert (has a lovely soft rose pink hue) with original stamped swivel T bar and original stamped dog clip. C~1920's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 24.5cm / 9 34" total length and weighs 19.7 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 5mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. The central link is stamped to one side (within a recessed oval shaped cartouche) with the makers initials; T*H - Thomas Hopwood (Birmingham, England). Robust and well made secure original dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is again clearly stamped (within a recessed oblong shaped cartouche); T*H and is stamped to the inside; PATENT. Big original T bar to the other end (measures 3.8cm length) which is correctly suspended from a short length of oval and circular link chain (so allowing the wearer to attach a fob if desired) which is again clearly stamped (within a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche); T*H. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no damage and just a little bit of light overall wear / patina (mainly to the T bar) and fine little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
