A scarce and unusual early Vermont imprint. Virtually all Vermont imprints prior to 1825 are scarce/ uncommon/ rare. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book opens to title page. Binding age worn but still appealing, leather and joints scuffed and rubbed but still supple, remains overall attractive as a physical object of this era. Text block paper is well age toned as typical, internally book remains mostly tight and sound. A book which has been taken care of but does not look like a new book. This is an antique old book which has been handled over the past many decades. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
