Description: NCS Product Synopsis Update: October 15, 2017 Brand new and bagged copy of Playstation Magazine Vol. 16 (Aug 19, 1997) which was published by Tokuma Shoten Intermedia over two decades ago. Our company originally imported a few hundred copies of this weekly Japanese magazine for sale on our company website back in the heyday of the Sony Playstation but we still have a few copies of this particular issue in warehouse storage. If the 3 copies that we have listed sell out, we'll relist it again. The cover features Front Mission characters. Special Notation about Playstation Magazine Unlike Saturn Fan, Dreamcast Magazine, and Dorimaga which use standard saddle stitch binding with staples, please note that Playstation Magazine uses perfect binding which results in a square back spine that is printable. Now, this is fine for a more stately and classier look for the magazine which lays flat on a table but the inner structure of the perfect binding has caused stress marks on the cover of the magazine after over 20 years in storage. To see the stress marks, look at the lower right side of the front cover of the magazine and you'll see scattered white streak that runs down the blue cover. And yes, the spine in Japanese periodicals is on the right hand side instead of the left hand side like we have in the United States. While this cosmetic aberration doesn't detract from the readability of the magazine, we don't see similar streaks in our decades old inventory of Saturn Fan, Dreamcast Magazine, and other saddle stitched periodicals. We still have about 300 Japanese video game magazines that are brand new and have been in warehouse storage for the past 20 years that we'll list gradually.
