Description: The exact mother plant is shown in the first photo. This is a specimen from a grower’s collection in the Bay Area. The 2nd image are spores from the same batch which were sown only 14 days ago, so you can be sure this stuff will germinate. Ridleyi spore tends to store for a long time as well. Harvested in August of this year. One of the two most popular staghorns in circulation today, P. ridleyi is an adaptable fern and one of the few that can be grown permanently potted without much issue. It prefers near full sun and a drier root ball but I grow it with my cattleyas just fine but with slightly more water. You will be purchasing the amount of spore pictured in the image, which is enough to sow for two 16oz deli containers as shown in the 2nd image. Shipping will be on Mondays and Tuesdays (preferably but mostly when I have time) via USPS priority mail to lower 48 states except Arizona. I offer combined shipping on all items. No returns offered if the plants are mishandled by shipping. If you have any questions, please message me!
