Description: These weapons were able to block tomahawks and knives but were much faster than a tomahawk in hand to hand combat. The gunstock club was used primarily for blows to the head. There is a body of evidence that Native Americans had gunstock war clubs even long before the arrival of "White Man." This reproduction war club is made of hard rock maple wood. It measures 35" L x 3/4" W. It is one single piece of wood, hand tooled with brass tack adornments. Though it is a replica, it is a similar copy of an existing Plains Indian war club.
