Description: Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-60 "Computer Controlled Stereo Receiver." This includes replacements for all electrolytic and tantalum capacitors in the SX-60, as well as replacements for the two 2SA798 dual transistors that can act up. This does not include new lights, fuses, or any resistors. This kit includes replacements for all the electrolytic capacitors in the receiver, including the two main filter capacitors. New caps are the same capacitance as the originals, though many will go higher in voltage. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Wima film, and Cornell-Dubilier for the two filter caps. There are two mini adapter boards and two SMD dual transistors to replace the two 2SA798s. You will need to assemble these, so you'll need either a very fine-point soldering iron tip and very thin solder, or you'll need SMD-working equipment. Or you can skip that step. These receivers can be a challenge to disassemble, so you should know what you're doing and have a good soldering iron, as well as a good desoldering tool (ideally a desoldering gun such as a Hakko FR-301).
