A functional remote is included and was used to make the short video showing basic operation. A copy of the Operations Manual will be included. The 6-disc magazines were used in many Pioneer, Onkyo, Marantz and other CD branded players. They were designed to allow users to load 6 discs and carry their music between home and auto (additional cartridges are often available on eBay).
