Description: Up for bid is a Caleca CASSEROLE BOWL DISH with LID in the Pink Garland pattern.This Casserole dish is made in Italy by the Caleca family that has been making pottery for 250 years, in Caltagirome, Sicily, Italy. The casserole bowl has a White background, hand painted with pink & blue flowers, encircled with a solid pink ring around the rim. The lower 1/4 has a solid pink band and two white handles. Made of Red clay with a glossy finish.The LID has a white base, 1 inch solid pink rim and a lighter pink on top bottom. There is a solid pink ring below the white handle, along with pink & blue flowers.It is 7-1/4 inches wide…including the handles it is 9 inches wide and 3-1/4 inches tall, with a 2-3/4 depth. The lid is 8 inches diameter. All together it weighs approximately 3.725 pounds.The lid has a shirt button size chip at the rim, but doesn’t affect the functionality or beauty of the piece.
