Beautiful books showing early examples of trades/industry in antiquity. Gorgeous engravings in black & white showing how they worked in various trades. Excellent reference material. I bought these books years ago and have been great reference material on tools of that era. Condition; clean-used with some wear to book-covers such as light-scratches to the gloss-finish from being read on a tables along with a few small tears around the outside edges from being in used for all these years, pages have some slight yellowing around edges from age (but not bad.) considering how old they are.
