Description: This tuning pin and center pin gauge measures the pin size. Slots in this tool are cut to exact size. Therefore, a #21 pin (as shown in the picture above), would fit in the 21-1/2 slot. To properly use this tool, insert the pointed end of the center pin into the very bottom of the slot. Restated a different way, if the center pin doesn't go into the slot...go up by half sizes until it fits. Then, realize that the actual pin is the lesser size by 1/2 because the pin will NOT fit into the actual slot (but the one half size larger).
