The huge (100m X 79m) photo of the Royal Family taken during the Queens Silver Jubilee year in 1977 was erected to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee in 2012. From left to right we can see Prince Charles, Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, the late Lord Louis Mountbatten, The Queen, Prince Philip, Mark Phillips and Princess Anne. Sea Containers House opened in 1978 and although it was designed as a hotel, it was never used for that purpose. It is currently being redeveloped as offices and a hotel.
