It is suitable for a totem or in a pot, left to scramble and drape over the edge. It likes to be watered regularly but must be grown in well drained medium. Philodendron 'Henderson’s Delight’ is a tropical plant that requires humidity and regular irrigation. The potting medium used should be an organic yet fast draining type. Course orchid mix ( bark, lava , charcoal, perlite, hydroton, etc) is an excellent soil amendment to liberally use. P. 'Henderson’s Delight’ can not have constantly soggy roots. It can be grown outdoors in locations that do not freeze.
