Description: Unusual find from an antique collector's estate. Dark metal, has a deep tanish appearance like silver or silver plate but has no silver markings. The area below the hinge is more of a polished silver appearance as shown in the zoomed in photo. I have not attempted to polish it. It is not magnetic. Only markings are "MADE IN JAPAN" on underside as shown in photo. Head hinges open for ink well, there is no removable liner. Measures approx 4" L x 3" H x 1.25" W.
