Description: A fine example of Peters & Reed/Zane Ware matte blue #773. I couldn't find this glaze treatment in the Peters & Reed book but the form is 773. This one is marked with the Zane Pottery Co logo and ZANE WARE and MADE IN USA impressed stamp. Zane took over the P&R production around 1921 and this is an early example in a rich matte blue that has some subtle drip on one side. The piece is ~7" tall with a 2½" top. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. Guaranteed to be as described. Please email with questions about this item.
