Description: Peter Pan and Wendy by J. M. Barrie. Illustrated. Published by Hodder & Stoughton as part of there “World Famous 2/- net Library” circa 1925 to coincide with the 1924 movie release. The book itself is in very good condition for its age. Minor bumping and wear (with minor fraying) to board and spine tips. Exposed edges of text block a bit dusty. Former bookseller’s price to half-title page. Small sliver at bottom of half title-page torn off and appears to have stuck to front pastedown, likely during manufacturing process. Can see webbing at gutter at a few places throughout book,including just before title page, but pages are all firmly attached. Pages are otherwise relatively clean with only a few small stains/blemishes here and there. A few pages towards end have been bumped near spine. Still a nice example of this hard to find book. The dust jacket is in very good condition for its age with wear, rubbing, chipping with loss, tears, creasing, spine darkening, soiling, etc. Please see pictures to judge condition for yourself.
