Description: You are looking at a PCGS graded 1934-S Peace dollar, graded uncirculated with a scratch. An obtainable coin in VG through VF, the 1934-S Peace dollar's price starts to accelerate from XF though the unc grades. MS-60 prices typically fetch around $2800, while MS-63 grades fetch about $5500. This coin has nice original toning around the outside rim of the obverse and reverse, and for an "S" mint, has nice strike. However, please make sure to get a closeup of the reverse of the coin. There is what looks to be a staple scratch starting right above the E in "E Pluribus Unum" and extends horizontally towards the eagles wings. On the wings itself, looks to be another scratch moving vertically downward, nearly crossing a thiner scratch (possibly bag mark on that one).
