The injunction forbids Mead from accelerating distribution "in anticipation of the expiration of the 90-day period." The court victory for Abbott follows an 18-month legal battle with Mead Johnson over Ricelyte superiority claims to Abbott's Pedialyte and trade dress infringement. The decision effectively protects Pedialyte's dominant position in the $45 mil. U.S. infant nutritional replenishment.
