This exquisite pair is very finely crafted and detailed, and made of solid cast bronze - each candlestick weighs over 5lbs! The set is done in the Neo Gothic style and features a mirrored pair of musketeers, bearing torch-like candle cups with leafed bobeches, with game birds and hunting paraphernalia hanging from their belts, both wearing Renaissance hooded capes and hats, and boots. The figures stand atop oval beveled bases. The figures have intricate detailing and are finely cast and chased. The bronze has a pleasing time-earned patina. The set will add old world elegance to any collection! The candlesticks present well and are in good antique condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age. Both figures have minor casting flaws, pock marks, and one figure has a small hole on his right arm. There is minor wax residue inside each candle cup. The pair is sold in as-found condition.
