In 1969, four youths from the factory town of Birmingham, England -- Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward -- formed a group that would change music forever with their unique style of "Heavy Metal" music. That group would soon take over the world as BLACK SABBATH! In 1980, Ozzy began an equally impressive solo career which established milestones in music history. Twenty years after Ozzy's departure, Black Sabbath reunited with one objective: to claim their rightful place in Rock 'N Roll history. Cornerstone Communications had planned to issue their own OZZY OSBOURNE and BLACK SABBATH trading cards and released two promotional cards. Although Cornerstone's base set was never released, there are few of these scarce promotional cards in existence. This item comes from the collection of Robert V. Conte, who wrote these cards.
