Description: Offered for your consideration is an outstanding example of Mid Century Modern design. This period [C.1955] chaise lounge has it all: design, comfort and craftsmanship! It is made in the style of Walter Lamb [who's examples bring substantial prices] and made by the Zerbee Texsteel. The tubular metal frame captures a spring like fine metal mesh. When one lies down or seats on the surface, the metal flexes down to accommodate and support your weight. The chaise has an overall length of 60" and is 42" high in the back by 22" wide. There has been some metal repair to the bottom of the underside of the tubular feet. The piece has been fully re-sprayed in a black primer paint and awaits any customized coloration you select.
