With illustrations. A study of the Bible in comparison to ancient texts from which much is derived. Appears to be from a personal library with Dewey decimal on spine and previous owner’s name on front endpaper but no other library-style markings or remnants. Moderate wear around the edges including bumped/frayed corners and spine ends. Darker rectangular area at base of spine and to nearby boards where Dewey number was likely taped down in the past. A few instances of mildly split binding but all pages remain attached. Some highlighting, underlining and sparse margin marks, none of which obscure text. See photos for condition.
