Description: A lovely Orrefors glass pedestal bowl made in the Ariel technique by Olle Alberius who worked a lot in this technique in the 70s and 80s. The bowl is prisitne but the pedestal has a slice taken out. It must have been placed on a stone surface at just the right angle and speed to chip off a slice but this is only on the pedestal so it still looks wonderful. It is priced accordingly. Signed " Orrefors Gallery 88 934790 Olle Alberius 30-50" where 934790 is the factory model number and 30-50 signifies this is number 30 of a limited run of 50. Measures 11-1/2" (29 cm) diam, height 3-1/2" (9 cm.) weighs 9lbs (4095grm)
