Description: RARE because it is an ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC patch created for the US NAVY's Fixed Wing Patrol (VP) community that flies the P-3 Orion. One of their detachments, CAC-9, was sent to Sigonella, Italy in 2001 and this is their deployment patch. It says "IT'S LIKE.....UNBEATABLE" (top) talking about the KING-high FLUSH behind the aircraft. There is a scantily clad lady riding the aircraft (like in Dr. Strangelove) and it says "BULLWINKLE / #DWMMFT" on the side with "KFOR / SFOR" (bottom).This patch has "a thin plastic" backing, a "merrowed black" border, has a "blue twill" background, does not have velcro on the back, no sew holes, and shows the dimensions in the photos...the ruler on the right is 6".This is from THE BEST NAVAL AVIATION PATCH COLLECTION I've ever seen, and comes from a retired US NAVY CAPTAIN's collection I just acquired, and hope to find this gem a good home.
