Description: Here we offer this fantastic Antique paint-decorated 13" round pantry box, both signed and dated. This is a bentwood pantry box with one piece top and bottom planks, has been paint decorated with slanted flames on the sides and wood-grained on the top (with an age split down the middle.) is reinforced with two nailed cross-members. The bottom is unfinished showing the wood's grain. See photos. The painted top has a radial trim applied, and a central emblem with the maker's monogamists"MMD" and the date"1846" in its center. The box is in excellent condition.
