Original by Robert Cobalt Blue Glass Tube Bead Baroque Pearl Demi Parure Set

Description: This is a vintage Original by Robert jewelry set or Demi Parure from the mid-century era of the 1940s. This set includes a 17 inch Long necklace, A memory wire bracelet, and clip on earrings, all made with cobalt blue glass tube beads and baroque pearls. The set is signed "Robert"on the back of the earrings and it is manufactured in the United States by Fashioncraft Jewelry. This is a very beautiful and glamorous set and still looks really good even though it's not absolutely perfect. The necklace is in very good condition and it has some verdigris on the metal parts everything else looks really good. The bracelet is missing a few tube beads which isn't really noticeable unless you examine it closely, has also some verdigris on the metal and one of the braces that holds the three lines of beads together is broken. It's still there and it has been wired together but really needs to be repaired. There's also some rust on the ends of the pearls but again I believe that could just be cleaned off the earrings also may be missing a couple of tube beads and has verdigris on some of the metal, but the clips work perfectly as does the hook closure on the necklace the memory wire bracelet is very snug and secure. The pearls look as though there was some kind of lacquer on the outside of them that has partially worn away. I think if I was going to keep it I would just take the rest of that lacquer off. The pearls themselves are in beautiful condition except for the lacquer. Please study the photographs carefully as all the things I have mentioned are shown at least partially in the pictures. All in all I think this is a really fabulous set and with a little bit of TLC could be put back in perfect condition it would make a very singular and exciting addition to any mid century glamorous jewelry collection.
