Description: Title / Subject: 'Completion of Roads to Aberystwith, with Roads to hay, Buallt, Llanidloes, Machynlleth, and Montgomery.' Date: 1823 Size: The sheet measures approximately 320mm x 265mm; blank verso. Distances are indicated; measured from Tyburn Turnpike. Cartographer / engraver: R.H. Laurie (publisher) Provenance: 'Laurie's Travellers Companion: Exhibiting a complete and correct survey of all the direct and principal cross roads in England, Wales, and Scotland: as far North as Edinburgh and Glasgow ...', London, 1823 Condition: Good condition. Light age toning. Hand coloured. Centrefold as published. Some offsetting which is often the case with these maps. Two very small wormholes to the upper and lower right side of the sheet which do not detract from the overall impression (they are just visible in the photographs but very difficult to see if the map is laid down on a light coloured surface). Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition. Ref: #05535
