Description: An interesting and attractive lithographic map of the ancient world by Edward Weller. It was published by Longmans, Green & Co. in 'The Public School Atlas of Ancient Geography' in 1877. There is a further inset map of the world according to the historian Herodotus. The printed area measures approximately 305mm x 240mm with margins beyond, blank verso. Conditon report: Very good condition. Centrefold as published. Approx. 3cm closed tear at the top of the centrefold and 0.5cm at the bottom of the centrefold (barely noticeable when the map is laid flat). Please study the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition. Ref: #02845
