Description: Offered here is a large original two-sided poster-sized laminated map of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. The 1964-65 New York World's Fair was Robert Moses's swan song for the city. This rolled map, with a detailed depiction of the World's Fair grounds on one side and the city of New York mapped on the other, was available for purchase as a souvenir at the Fair. There was also apparently a smaller folding map available at the time, but this is not it. I am also including an original copy of the official guide book for the Fair. Dimensions: Map: Approximately 32 3/4 inches by 25 3/4 inches.Book: 8 inches in height by 5 inches in width. Please note that the map and book will be sent separately: the map will be sent in a tube and the book in an envelope at no additional charge to the buyer. These items are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
