It is drawn on a scale of 1:1,000,000, and the image area measures 36.8 x 47.5 cm [14½" x 18¾"], with generous margins on all sides. Details include cities, towns, railroads, postal roads, steamship routes, and natural features, with topography drawn in relief. There are many hundreds of place names, including Königsberg (Kaliningrad), Danzig (Gdansk), Elbing (Elblag), Könitz (Chojnice), Tilsit (Sovetsk), Thorn (Torun), Ermeland (Warmia), Bromberg, (Bydgoszcz), Schneidemühl (Pila), Memel (Klaipeda), and Köslin (Koszalin).
