Description: Limted edition print depicting the action of Medic Ed "Doc" Pepping on D-Day +1,1944 in Normandy France during operation Overlord. Signed by paratrooper Ed "Doc" Pepping. Pepping worked to help Col.Turner out of the stalled tank. Col. Turner, who was shot, did not survive that day. However, the action of Medic Pepping allowed the tank column to continue forward. Ed Pepping returned to his native California and lived many years after the war. Proceeds from the sale of this print will be donated to the Currahee Military Museum in Toccoa, Georgia. Camp Currahee is where "The Band Of Brothers" trainined during 1942/1943. PFC Ed "Doc" Pepping was a member of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st A/B.
