Description: Incredible condition for it’s age!! They do not make things like this anymore. Finest quality fabric was used in creating this gorgeous blue garment. Vintage 1940’s Blue Suit Dress and Jacket set Wool, silk, velvet bow. Jacket zips up back. Dress zips up back and could be worn alone its so pretty! See measurements in the photos but this is a modern size 2. Waist is about 26-27. My measurements are 27” waist 5’4” 32B wearing padded bra. There is plenty of room for a much larger bust. please note: Overall this is in incredible condition. Near perfect, wool has zero signs of damage same with the silk top of the dress. Light fade on top of one shoulder but velvet ribbon is gorgeous silk velvet. It’s almost like new. Only issue ms of note is that The jacket is Lined in organza which is ripped and the arm lining in particular is shredded. Easy to snip the arms lining out. The wool is fine quality and soft! There are a few pinholes in the silk top of the dress.
