Secure and yet easily and quickly removed. Doesn't touch the delicate charge port pins like other plug covers do. Attach the tether to the footpad or the rail. Use with or without the tether - if without, plug the hole in the cap for a higher level of protection. I don’t bother using the tether because the fit is so snug and tight, it isn’t necessary for my pavement riding. The first time you use the plug, you might want to heat it under some hot water. After a few uses, the fit remains tight and yet it's easier to install and to remove. If you have a Pint, the way to attach the tether to your board is by gently loosening the front foot pad screws to separate the pad from the rail and insert the tether in between. Tighten the footpad screws and it's attached. If you have a OW XR, Plus or V1, you also have the option of using a wood screw and attaching the eyelet to the side of the wooden front footpad.Don/t use the tether to pull out the plug from the port.What I choose to do is this:I cut off my tether and the cap is such a tight fit that I've never had it fall out in 4 months of riding. I use my fingernail to pry off the cap and you can use a coin or a thin blade to do the same thing. Works great for me that way. And you don't take a chance of damaging the delicate charge port prongs like you do with other plugs in a board rollover or wreck.Hope this helps and enjoy your tethered charge port cap!
