Comes with a brass key, reversible, works perfectly. Victorian era, brass face plate, clearly maker marked RHC, READING HARDWARE CO., OF Reading, Pennsylvania, one of the foremost manufactures of door hardware in the late 19th and early 20th Century. FACEPLATE: Face plate measures 5 5/8" by 15/16" wide. 1/8" thick brass. BOX: Box is 3 1/4" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 3 3/4" top to bottom. SCREWS: Screws are on 4 3/4" centers. BACKSET: Step back from the front of the front plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 1/4". DROP: The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion of the key hole) is 2". SHAFT or KNOB POST: Requires a standard 5/16" knob post.Reversible.
