The decorative stitches also add a lot, but it can be done without those as well. It's a fairly quick and very fun project! For thread, I used green, brown, and gold. The braided table runner concept used by permission from Genii Lehmann, Living in Fairbanks, Alaska and regularly seeing moose and spruce trees around our house helped inspire this design.
