Description: The Olympus Trip AF 31 is a vintage compact 35mm autofocus camera introduced by Olympus in 1996. Part of the Trip AF series, first released in 1984. Country of manufacture: Japan. The camera features a 34mm f/5.6 autofocus lens that is protected by a sliding "XA" style cover that also serves as a power switch when opening the lens. The front panel of the body has a built-in flash with a flash fill and flash off button.Shutter speed (shutter speed) 1/125 sec. The camera independently determines the ISO sensitivity of the film using the DX code; for films without a DX code, ISO 100 is set. Self-timer. To activate the self-timer, press and hold the timer button while simultaneously pressing the shutter button. Tripod socket. Overall, the AF 31 fits very well in the hand. The movement of the lid from closed to open is easy and pleasant. The cover and overall design make this camera look like the Mju II on steroids. While it's still a "pocket camera," it certainly feels more substantial than most Olympus compacts. On the back cover there is a window through which you can see what kind of film you have installed, which is often useful. The Olympus Trip AF 31 was marketed as a "no-frills camera for vacationers" and best suited for sunny days. Powered by two AA batteries (not included). Look carefully at the photos, this is the best description of the product!!!
