Description: Here I have for sale a very collectibe Oxford World's Classics edition of Oliver Goldsmith's The Vicar of Wakefield in hardcover with pictorial dust jacket, published in 1967. The book is Near Fine with no obvious flaws other than a tad of foxing to topstain and tiny crimp to corner of colophon page. The dust jacket is Near Fine. Beautiful cover illustration designed by Edward Ardizzone. The colors are still bright, a tad of fade to spine and the mildest of staining on rear panel. No chipping or tearing. A small residue spot from OUP sticker price on inside flap. It is not price-clipped and is protected in mylar.
