Description: Telephone Bell Company First Portable Belgian Kettle manufactured1956. My dad worked for Ma Bell. He told me this was the first style of portable telephone because it has a handle. The area code is from Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Ohio. This phone was wired for dial tone in 1980's. I had dial tone until 1998 but not now. Including a cord caddy which allowed a person to walk 50 feet away from the phone. Weights 7 lbs, brass carry handle, steel phone body, dial works and last I had it on dial tone could talk on it. I'm selling it because now I'm old and have no one to leave it to. Telephone extension cord holder included in this posting.
