Description: These are two very old Medilog-II EKG recorders (designed to store EKG data on cassette tapes) They are old monitor recorders that were created for cassette tapes by an engineer at Oxford Medical Systems Ltd in 1976, based on the original Oxford Instruments cassette based Holter Monitor device. The engineer later moved to create the Vicon 3D Motion Capture systems - I was working back then to repair all the previous versions of these devices. This device collected human subjects EKG for 24 hours on a C120 cassette tape which was then analyzed by computer based system.These devices were unfortunately unreliable but are a good example of the early days of medical data collections. One of these seems to work but both units are too old to use and lack the EKG sample cables. The old EKG analysis cassette tape devices no longer seem to exist. So these are just an old electronics device that might be useful if anyone wants to observe medical electronics history. A sample cassette tape is included and both units have the original locking keys. One key collection includes the internal device access unlocking key too that would allow these device to be disassembled.A low price because these are no longer function in any medical environment these days - showing people these original device might make them much happier with modern (smaller, less weight) Holter monitors.
