Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs. This single sheet, single fold, four page herald is for Paramount Pictures' American silent historical war film "Old Ironsides", directed by James Cruze, featuring Charles Farrell, Esther Ralston, Wallace Beery and George Bancroft, and playing at the Criterion Theatre, in New York City, in 1927. The souvenir herald is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, when it was initially folded (most likely by the printer), it was not folded exactly at its center. See the final photograph that demonstrates this flaw.
