Description: Up for bid is a small European fiddle pattern silverplated sugar tongs, origin unknown, possibly Belgian. The piece is 4 1/4 inches long and weighs 11 grams. It has oval grips, squared shoulders and fiddle arms as shown. It has not been monogrammed. It has two indistinct marks inside of one arm; one looks like an “8”. Condition on the tongs is fair. There are minor bends and stubborn tarnish spots as shown, as well as slight wear-through on the edges. It has a scratchy surface as well. Still an interesting old sugar tongs!
