This New York City Center revival opened in NYC on 08/31/53 and ran for only 40 performances. Inside are costumed photos, bios, synopsis, background on the show, cast list and scene synopsis, musical numbers list and production photos from South Pacific, The King And I and Me And Juliet. The cast includes Ridge Bond, Florence Henderson, Mary Marlo, Alfred Cibelli Jr, Barbara Cook, Harris Hawkins, David Le Grant, Owen Martin, Judy Rawlings, Charles Hart, Maggi Nelson and George Lawrence. Music by Richard Rodgers lyrics and book by Oscar Hammerstein (based on Green Grow The Lilacs by Lynn Riggs). Directed by Rouben Mamoulian and choreographed by Agnes de Mille. The program is complete. This is NOT a reproduction!! Note: Souvenir programs are 9 x 12 inches but may vary somewhat in size. Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
