This gorgeous navy & blush colored flower gown is made of satin-like mikado & has a light tulle/petticoat underneath, giving it a pop of volume for that Princess of the Party feeling. Even better, though, is the fact that this gown HAS POCKETS! Yes, you read that right! A gown with pockets! It’s one of the things I love about this designer. I have a few Xscape dresses & they all have pockets in them! I purchased this directly from Nordstrom on May 6, 2020, while I (and the rest of the world) was stuck at home due to Covid, and was jonesing for some retail therapy. 😅 Ok, so I was actually shopping for a bridesmaid’s dress, but when I saw this, I couldn’t help but buy it, too. Unfortunately (fortunately?), I’ve lost weight since purchasing this and never got around to wearing it other than to try it on. With wedding season upon us, this gown would be a gorgeous (& incredibly comfortable) fit for the celebration. (Did I mention it has pockets?!) Gown is new with tags & still in the original Nordstrom box. Size is 20W. Note: “Compared to satin, Mikado is more stiff, which gives more architectural structure to the dress design. Although it is a bit on the heavier side, it retains the shape of the dress really well, especially for full and voluminous ball gowns.”
