Bosch part number on horns: 0 321 023 007 (500Hz low note) and 0 321 023 008 (625Hz high note horn). Both box and horns are date stamped 429 (September 1974). These “double toned” fanfare horns are listed in the 1968 – 1975 Volkswagen accessory brochures. Brochure states “Let them know you’re coming!” Original equipment accessory on the Formula Vee special edition Beetle. Also used on various 1970s Mercedes-Benz models.
