It is made from a beautiful piece of heated Burlington chert. It is very thin and has a great form overall. There is no modern damage. North Blades were made by the Hopewell culture and are Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 years old. This is a very nice, thin blade and it will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. It is a very large example of the type. Size 4.63 inches in length.
