Description: Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old replacement stock timing cam gear, Cloyes part number S-253. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to my vintage timing component manuals, this is used on the following models and years: 1942-1948 Cadillac....All models The gear has 42 teeth and is in brand new, never used condition. It is free of any chips or damage. There is a spot or two of extremely minor surface rust on the piece from many years of shelf storage. May or may not need a light polishing up before installation.
