Description: Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Noritake Limerick (3063) Single (1) Footed Tea Cup & Saucer Set. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and a few serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The following pieces are included in each set: 1 Saucer – 5.75” in diameter 1 Footed Tea Cup – 3.375” in height The majority of pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “Noritake Ireland, ®, Ireland, 3063, Limerick, ©.” A few pieces may have a slightly different backstamp. The footed tea cup & saucer set has a white/ivory base with a blue and multicolor floral design, green ovals on border, and a platinum rim/verge. The pattern has been discontinued with the years of manufacture between 1981 and 1993. Condition: Overall, the footed tea cup & saucer sets are in great condition and look to have been rarely used. The footed tea cup & saucer sets were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, flea bites, minor glazing/manufacturer imperfections, cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the platinum rim and verge, but the pieces look only lightly used.
