The lens swings around and exposes the film, creating unique 140 degree panoramas. This camera is different from the Widelux in a number of ways. -This camera uses 120 film, for amazing image quality! -The swing mechanism is controlled electronically and is MUCH more accurate than purely mechanical cameras (the smoother the swing functions, the smoother the final image is). The camera uses 4- AA batteries, just for the swing function. -The viewfinder on this camera is actually usable, showing a very accurate view of what will be exposed to film This camera works PERFECTLY! It does not scratch film, with no spacing issues and the panoramic swing function gives consistent and beautiful results. The camera received a full overhaul in 2023 and has worked perfectly for me!
