Description: Here's the newest of the 20 or 30 of these guys I've made over the past 10-12 years, each entirely different, different kinds and sizes of wood bases, different porcelain or cast iron Nipper dogs, different sizes/heights of Nippers, different used car horns (some patina finish, some gloss black like this one), and a zillion choices of old phonograph reproducers, different brands, and in all different conditions. This unit features the smaller 4" tall cast iron piggy bank Nipper, a shorter car horn painted gloss black, a vintage reproducer lovingly polished by yours truly, and a name/model number badge off of an old Victrola phonograph mounted directly onto the 15" wide base board. The plaque (see last photo above) seems to tie all the different pieces together. Sooooo if it's time to dress up the music room/music store, and you like home made goodies- - -order-up.
