Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Nilsson titled "Without You b/w Gotta Get Up", originally released in 1971 by RCA Records. I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The inner sleeve is graded as Excellent because of some creased corners. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track is etched "R", followed by the matrix numbers 24-S/24-S, indicating that earlier stampers were used to make this record at RCA's pressing plant, located in Rockaway, New Jersey. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairline, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Goos Plus because of some occasional low level surface noise and pops. It plays all the way through without anu lock-ups or skips from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Rockaway pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
