(Camera Serial: 3988469, Lens Serial: 1162749, Japan) Camera and lens are in very good condition, with some light signs of previous use.Shutter fires at all speeds, and sounds accurate, though slow speeds sound slightly fast.Meter is functional and accurate.Viewfinder is clean and clear, with light internal dust that will hardly effect use.Rear light seals may need to be refreshed.Lens is a Nikkor 50mm f1.4 fast standard lens, in nice shape.Optics look good, though under strong direct light, some internal haze can be seen, and there are two small marks on the front elements, which may lightly effect image quality.Aperture is nice and snappy, and focus is nice and smooth.Includes original fitted leather carrying case, in very nice shape, with a leather neck strap.The Nikkormat FTN was Nikon's entry-level 35mm film SLR of the late 1960s, but still featured the robust build quality of their flagship Nikon F cameras.
